May 12, 2010 post meeting round-up.

Howdy all,

Granted, that the meeting was the day before of spring break, there were some interesting intersections between the studios. The primary element is way-finding with the main goals of increasing exposure and accessibility of the regional market and it's surrounds. Regardless in what way the function will be followed by form, low cost and easily replicable. The schematic linked below indicates why from a landscape architecture stand point why cheap and replicable would be advantageous. The marketing portion of the schematic the red dots are locating bus stops in red and important population centers in yellow that indicate important marketing opportunities. If a simple, elegant, and cheap design could be achieved and place at the bus stops would certainly increase the regional market exposure.

The link below shows just one portion of the schematic done by my group, but it is about vertical integration on the site of the regional market. Each tier represents an element that schematically represents information that is key to the success of the integration. The second portion will contain other tiers that will be posted by next Monday.

This second link is on image produced by the production group. The image highlights agricultural production through the lens of milk. It is important to highlight this product because it is the dominant ag. product in the area and understand the nature of milk, will help us understand the past, present, and future ag. procution in the county.

I look forward to the next meeting, I may have mixed the links up, but they are clearly labeled in their own right so open them both and enjoy.

Best Regards,
